One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. We are familiar with the expression, but what if you took it literally? What if you created something fanciful, funny, artistic or wild from scrap? This is happening all over the world by creatives who see art and possibility where others only see landfill material. Local artist Karin Nolmans, a member of the Grondslag group that falls under Kunstpost, is one of these creative thinkers and she will be working her magic on Saturday, April 18th, 2015.
Children and adults alike are invited to attend her “Art from Scrap” workshops that will be held throughout the Earth Day celebration in The Hague, Bezuidenhout (€ 2,50 workshop fee per person).
What can you expect to create? Well, it really is up to your imagination, but the accompanying images are a few examples of what Ms. Nolmans has inspired during her art from scrap workshops.
